I once wrote that the fact that Woodward and Bernstein kept the identity of Deep Throat a secret kind of irked me.

Now, W. Mark Felt, second in command at the FBI during the Watergate era has revealed that he is Deep Throat.

I was kind of hoping for something sexier or more conspiracy-laden than a freaking FBI agent.
