Morbid Children's Books

I love children's picture books. But I'm disturbed by one of them.

You have the classic Goodnight Moon which ends sweetly and calmly.

You have the classic Green Eggs and Ham which ends with a lesson to keep an open mind.

And then you have the classic There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly which ends with the old lady dying.

"She died of course." I find this book to be incredibly morbid.
