Freedom Fries

Yesterday was my wee little niece's birthday party.

Her birthday isn't until next month but she was having a joint birthday party with her best friend whose birthday was earlier this month.

And their most precious desire was to go to The City (Oklahoma City for those who do not have the joy of living in southwest Oklahoma).

They decided that among the various activities, they wanted to eat at Toby Keith's bar and grill.

Freedom fries is actually listed on the menu under side orders.

And what's worse, someone at the next table actually ordered the freedom fries.

They did not ask for french fries...they actually said "I'd like a side order of freedom fries."

Now, back in the day, I thought the very idea of freedom fries was incredibly stupid.

And now I must write that it only gets more stupid with age.
