I don't like to talk on the telephone.

I think I sound like I am twelve over the telephone.

My darling sister always tells me that I sound much older than twelve on the phone. She's a sweetheart.

However, last night I answered the phone and the person on the other side said: "Hi, nudeplatypus' niece...may I talk to your mommy."

I corrected her by noting that it was not nudeplatypus' niece but nudeplatypus herself and that I was fifteen years older than said niece.

So, apparently I don't sound like I am twelve on the phone...I sound like I'm ten.
