Sister Fights

My mother is convinced that my sister and I are fighting.

Her evidence is that I did not go to lunch with her on Tuesday.

I tried to tell her that 1) I don't go to lunch with my lovely sister every, single day and 2) she was going to a Chinese restaurant and my sister knows how I feel about Chinese food (no fast food, no buffets, only well-made, quality-ingredient Chinese food...I'm very picky when it comes to Chinese food).

However, despite my rather convincing arguments, my mother still believes that we are fighting.
