The Fish is Missing

The roommate has a beta fish.

The beta fish would swim lazily around its aquarium.

But, the beta fish is now missing.

The roommate thinks that the fish jumped out of its aquarium.

However, the openings in the top of the aquarium are approximately this big (................) and not much wider than that.

I suppose that if the fish were really intent on committing suicide, it could have managed to squeeze itself through the holes.

However, the fish corpse was not found on the floor.

So, the next suggestion was that the fish had somehow been sucked up into the filter.

The filter did not seem to be malfunctioning but I examined it closely and again, no fish corpse was found.

The fish is just gone�it's very odd. I blame it on the bitter, psychic energy.
