Today, I was the dutiful daughter. I went to see my mother. I love my mother but she can be exhausting.

She was complaining about our exalted President and I told her to not complain to me because I voted for Gore.

She sadly sighed and then looked at me and said: "maybe you'll grow out of it one day."
