Oh dearest Granny Smith Apple

You were my favorite. But when I walked into the store last week there was a large display of Pink Lady Apples.

I don't know what to tell you dearest Granny Smith, I was seduced by the clever marketing ploys of the grocery store and stocked up on pink ladies leaving behind all the granny smiths.

And I must say that you have been replaced...Pink Ladies are now my favorite.

I love them so much, I may be inclined to share with the squirrel who lives on my stoop but scurries away every time I walk near.
