Yesterday, one of those idiotic pre-recorded campaign messages was on my beloved answering machine.

The message was in support of Brad Carson who is a democratic candidate for the Senate. And the message was from Barry Switzer. Frankly, that's one huge strike against Mr. Carson right from the beginning.

The best part of the message was how Barry Switzer ended: "Brad Carson's not liberal, I wouldn't support him if he were."

It was so very random.
